I love stories.

My story-telling career began when I was five. I entertained the neighborhood kids with my vivid imagination and my little chalkboard. This led to a 17 year career as writer/director of children’s TV shows. (SABC)

After relocating to the USA I began telling 3D stories in concrete and clay.

With inspiration all around, it starts with a thought, a dream or something altogether unexpected. I explore and disappear into a world of figure and form. The infinite possibilities delight me as I seek to capture the story within each piece.

I “unsculpt” to keep the beautiful imperfections and forms that happen organically. Most of my work is figurative and to add to the narrative I use natural pigments, stains and found treasures.

With my art I hope to inspire viewers in a way to explore their own ideas and stories.
